Captive is a horror game in which the objective is to escape or hunt without killing the other players, the choice of each role is random at the start of the game.

There are four survivors and one killer. Your objective, if you are a player, is to hack several computers to escape from the place, avoiding the killer. The hacking is done through a mini-game, which you do by standing in front of the computer and pressing the Q key. After a few seconds you will see a bar with a green space and an arrow moving from right to left. The goal is to prevent this arrow inside the green space from going around the system.
The assassin does not kill the survivors, but captures them. First he knocks them out, then ties them up and drags them to one of the many tubes where he freezes them and each survivor can save his companions by unfreezing them.
