The Curse of Vanishing can be one of the most annoying spells in Minecraft. When applied to an item, the enchanted item disappears when dropped after a player dies. This means the item is gone forever. It can be incredibly frustrating if it’s a powerful or rare item, so naturally you’ll want to remove this curse!
Unfortunately, only a few items in the game can remove the Curse of Vanishing. These are Pumpkin Heads and Mob Heads. Placing a head and then breaking it removes the curse.
What does the vanishing curse do?
When you own an item equipped with the Curse of Vanishing Enchantment, it will disappear upon death in the game. And once it’s gone, it’s really gone.
If you are killed by another play, enemy crowd, or even fall damage, any item in your inventory with Curse of Vanishing will disappear forever and will not be recoverable. Where, as usual, the object fell to the ground.
What is the curse of disappearance?
It’s a rare spell that you can get from the treasure. To get it, you must “sacrifice” an item so that it can curse you with the vanishing curse spell. You can use this curse of vanishing spell by arranging attractive iron blocks for some different weapons, order of play or together in a table. There are fishing rods, spades, bows, shields, picks, shovels, swords, axes, and many other compatible items you can add to the curse.
You can apply a curse to the player’s tool using the curse of the vanishing spell. When the tool begins to be cursed with a vanishing enchantment curse, that tool begins to disappear. Once the curse is applied, the curse is only removed when the player himself dies.

One advantage of having Curse of Vanishing on your equipment is in player versus player combat and you don’t want whoever you are fighting to get your items when you die. Rather than the other player taking your equipment and keeping it for themselves, the items will vanish completely and no one will be able to get them. However, this also means you won’t get the item back after you die.
Minecraft is available on PC, Android, iOS, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation platforms.
Server and client versions
One thing to look out for when joining a server is to make sure that the version number of your Minecraft client (game) matches the version number of the server. In general, the versions must match, otherwise you won’t be able to connect.
For example, the current version of Minecraft is 1.7.9, but many servers are still running 1.7.2 or even 1.6.4. Sometimes the server’s website tells you what version it’s running, but sometimes the only way to tell is to try it and see. If you get an error message when using the 1.7.9 client, try the 1.7.2 client instead.
