Change Roblox cursor to customized cursor
In this article you will learn how to change the default cursors in Roblox for your own custom cursors, we will even provide you with a series of custom cursors so you can download them for free and replace them with the original ones.
The first thing we must do is to locate the icon with which we enter the game, that is to say “Roblox Player“. It is usually found on the desktop, however, if you do not find it, type in the Windows search bar the word Roblox Player.
You must right click on “Roblox Player” and of the different options that will be displayed, you must choose the option that says “Open file location” as it is shown in the following image:
The location where the Roblox Player file is located will open. Inside the different folders that will be shown you must enter the folder called “content“, then the folder “textures“, then the folder “Cursors” and finally the folder “Keyboardmouse“.
Inside the “Keyboardmouse” folder you will see the cursors that are currently being used in Roblox, that is to say, the default cursors in Roblox.
The second step consists of opening the folder called “Keyboardmouse” and delete the cursors that are there, since they will be replaced by the cursors that we have chosen to replace them. The cursors that you have chosen to replace the default ones in Roblox must have the same names as the original Roblox cursors.
The names of the original cursors that you must replace with the same name as the cursors you download are the following:
- ArrowCursor
- ArrowFarCursor
- IBeamCursor
Note that the cursors you download to replace the default ones in Roblox must be in PNG format and have a “64 x 64” dimension.
After downloading, you only have to rename them, with the names of the default Roblox cursors, delete the default cursors and then paste the downloaded cursors in the Keyboardmouse folder, once you have already renamed them.
Finally, the cursors will be changed, but keep in mind that with each new Roblox update, you will have to go through the same steps again to use custom cursors in Roblox.
