How to recover your Roblox account?
In this article we will show you how to recover your Roblox account if you don’t remember any of the data you need to log in to your account. It is very common that you forget your username, you don’t remember your password or you change your computer or device and you haven’t saved the data to log in to your account.
We will show you in an easy way how to recover your Roblox account, either by email or through your phone number so you can continue playing this wonderful game.
Recovering your Roblox password via email
If you have forgotten your Roblox password follow the steps below:
- Enter the Roblox Official website and click on login. In the section that asks for your username and password, click on the option “Forgot your password or username?”, as you can see in the following image:
2. In the section called Password, it will suggest different password recovery options, one of them is to use your phone number to reset your password or you can simply use your email address. Enter the one you are most comfortable with and click Submit.
3.The system will send you an on-screen notification that the e-mail has been sent. Click “Accept”.
Access your email inbox and in the message you have received from Roblox, you will have the instructions to follow and you must click on the URL that comes in the email sent by Roblox.
4.A new screen will appear for you to reset your password. Remember to write down your password in a place where you will not lose it again.
Recovering your Roblox username via email
If you have forgotten your Roblox username and need to recover it, here’s how to do it:
- Enter the official Roblox website and click on login. In the section that asks for your username and password click on the option “Forgot your password or username”.
- Then select the Username tab as shown in the following image. Enter the email address you used to register on Roblox.
3. Enter the email address you entered in the previous step where you will have a password to retrieve your username.
Recover Roblox account with phone number
If you entered your phone number when you registered in Roblox, you will have the possibility to recover your Roblox account using your mobile device.
Roblox will send you an SMS to the number you entered and the steps to do this are as follows:
1.On the screen where it says “Forgot your password or username?” you will see that underneath there is an option called “Use phone number to reset password”.
2.Just select your country and then enter the phone number. If you have done this correctly you will receive the data you have requested, either the password or the username.
3. After receiving the SMS with the 6-digit code, depending on whether you requested the password or the user name, enter it where it corresponds and click on “Verify”.
4. That’s it, you have recovered your password and started playing.
